Reading-Phonics/Structural Analysis

  • Recognize and name all colors.
  • Begin to recognize uppercase letters.
  • Recognize first name.
  • Pre-reading skills left to right.
Reading-Comprehension
  • Listen to a story and retell the characters of the story.
  • Sequence events in a story.
Language Arts-Listening and Speaking Skills
  • Sit in circle time and listen when others are speaking.
  • Listen to and follow direction.
  • Speak in clear sentences.
  • Understands "lets pretend".
  • Uses plurals.
  • Speaks in sentences 4 to 5 words.
