Welcome to fourth grade. This is the year when your children will develop their independence as learners, they will take responsibility for their own learning and stretch themselves and reach goals they never thought were possible--I am blessed to be teaching each one of your children. |
BEFORE ENTERING fOURTH GRADE
Students are required to have completed and passed the Third Grade Curriculum before entering Fourth Grade.
HOMEWORK
Homework is assigned and sent home Monday through Thursday. Consistency and parent involvement is encouraged.
CURRICULUM OVERVIEW
Our program involves non-denominational Biblical teaching and prayer. A Beka text books are used for math, language, spelling, poetry, and science. Positive Action for Christ text books are used for Bible.

CONTACT MRS. WELTY

Mrs. Sharon Welty was born and raised in Santa Clara, CA. She attended Hyles-Anderson College in Crown Point, Indiana. After graduation she moved to Odenton, Maryland and taught 2nd grade for three years. She returned to California and taught at Monarch Christian School in Sunnyvale. In 2000, she joined the staff at Sunnyvale Christian School teaching upper elementary.
