Parent-Teacher Prayer Fellowship (PTPF)

The PTPF exists for the purpose of developing a close fellowship between the parents and staff of Sunnyvale Christian School through prayer, regular meeting, and partnership in the planning and implementation of school activities.

Involvement

  • It is the desire of Sunnyvale Christian School that all parents participate in the school fundraisers and activities.  The teachers and administrative staff greatly appreciate the generosity of each parent's time and resources.

  • Every classroom needs to have a lead parent who is the lead partner of the teacher for the coordination of volunteers for classroom and school events, to include field trips, class functions, fundraisers, the Walk-a-Thon, and the Fun Fest.

  • The lead parent works closely with the teacher and the other parents in the communication of classroom and school needs, to include helping to get volunteers for events and activities.

Meetings

  • A general PTPF meeting will be scheduled monthly (or at a minimum every other month) so that the parents and staff can get together to pray, socialize, and discuss how we can partner together for the students.  It is the desire of the Administrative Team that we come together as a family committed to pray for every classroom and the school.

  • It is an ambition that each classroom would be represented by a parent and that the staff would be well represented from both the preschool and the elementary school.  A member of the Administrative Team will always be present to lead the meeting's agenda.

  • These meeting will be consistent throughout the year on a day and time that is most conducive to parent involvement.
